This video shows the final packaging stage of our fiber optic cable production line — precision winding onto wooden reels.
After passing all optical and mechanical quality inspections, each length of cable moves to the winding station, where it is carefully coiled onto sturdy wooden reels. This step is critical for ensuring product integrity during storage, transportation, and final field deployment.
What you'll see in this video:
Controlled tension winding — preventing excessive stress on the optical fibers and buffer tubes
Even layering across the reel barrel — ensuring the cable spools uniformly without cross-over or pinching
End-cable securing — firmly fastening the loose end to prevent unwinding during transit
Reel labeling and identification — clear marking of cable type, total length, batch number, and manufacturing date
Wooden reels are the industry-preferred shipping platform for fiber optic cables, offering the strength and durability needed for both domestic and international logistics. They also integrate seamlessly with standard deployment equipment such as pay-off stands and cable tensioners, making installation easier for network crews in the field.
Once the winding is complete, each reel is banded, wrapped (if required), and staged for loading into containers or trucks — ready to reach telecom carriers, ISPs, and infrastructure projects around the world.
From our production floor to your network — quality cable, properly packaged, on its way to connect communities.
